Millinery Market – How to Contact an Owner about a Hat
There are two ways to get in contact with an owner in Millinery Market:
- Leave a comment on their hat listing (publicly viewable)
- Send them a private message
In this article we’ll take a look at how the two methods work and provide some guidance on when to use each method.
Method #1 – Comment on the Hat Listing
When you view a hat listing, at the bottom of the page will be a comments section where you can leave a comment for the owner. Note these comments are public so other users will be able to see your comment.
After you leave a comment on a hat listing, the owner will receive an email notification letting them know that you’ve left a comment. The owner can then go to the hat listing page and respond to your comment.
In general, we recommend leaving a comment if you have a question about the hat where the answer would benefit other users or if you have a quick question that can be easily answered by the owner in a single response.
Try to avoid having long back and forth conversations within a hat listing’s comments. Sending a private message as described in the next section would be better for this type of conversation.
Method #2 – Send a Private Message
To send a private message, click on the ‘Contact’ button found beside the owner’s profile picture on the hat listing page.
Alternatively, you can click the contact button on the owner’s profile page.
You can then enter your message and click ‘Send message’.
The owner will then receive an email notification letting them know that you’ve just sent them a new message.
The owner can then view and respond to your message.
You and the owner will both receive an email notification each time the other person leaves a new message.
